Used to come here all the time as a young kid and came back recently. Same feelings of adventure and learning were sparked! Great place for young kids!
Had the best fun outside with the cut outs. Disappointed in the cost for looking at collections of Oz items instead if actually seeing items from the movie.
I love Judy Garland. She's beautiful, her amazing singing, and how wonderful she was in many of her films. Wizard of Oz was one of the greatest old time classics in film history. My other favorite films with her were Easter parade, Me and my gal, Meet me in St. Louis, Girl crazy, Broadway melody 38, Little Nelly Kelly, Strike up the band, Babes in arms, Babes on Broadway, In the good ol summertime, Summer stock, and The Harvey girls. She had many great songs in all of those films.
Other the other hand if you have young childern the play area is certainly very cool.
You must give yourself the wonderful experience of visiting this most enchanting tribute to truly the greatest musical artist we have ever known, Judy Garland. The collection of memorabilia is voluminous; the attention paid to the Children's Museum carries on the tradition of Judy's great love of children and her support of children's emotional causes as exemplified by her participation in the film, A Child is Waiting, in which she gave one of her most spectacular dramatic performances. I was like a kid in a candy store....
The Wizard of Oz collection is kind of neat. The souvenirs are not very good. And the only big deal is that one of the actual pairs of Ruby shoes got stolen from there. Not really something to be proud of.
