Unfortunately they are being purchased by some national chain. Go eat there ASAP before the new owners ruin everything.
We've stayed at the Saw Mill several times already. Each time is better. Employees are super nice and very helpful. Yes the rooms could use some updates but how long do you actually stay in your room?
We came for the brunch Buffet. We were promptly seated, treated well, and the food was amazing. There was a large selection with fresh fruits to freshly made waffles. Very good experience as always, and delicious, top qualify food.
Loved the staff here! My friends and I went on MEA break and stayed here 2 nights and we were pleasantly surprised. The owner Wayne had us join him for a drink in the lounge and he struck us as kind and inviting. The decor is rustic, and the restaurant is amazing. The convenience of having an attached bar and restaurant to the hotel makes this location desirable. The domed pool was definitely the highlight, 8 feet deep with a spacious hot tub. Staying 2 nights for less than $200 makes this place a steal, we will definitely be coming back!
This is for the restaurant; I have never stayed at the hotel. Classic Midwestern upscale-ish restaurant experience. Great popovers. Great steak. Great prime rib. Great bar. Friendly waitress who has worked there forever.
Great atmosphere. A place to meet for a meal meeting or before or after one. The have full menu and buffet. Conferences can be reserved as can the indoor pool for kid parties etc. One of my functions has yearly contract arrangements that all our needs are met. They are highly recommended.
